Stephen Brobst is the Chief Technology Officer for Teradata Corporation. His specialization is in the design and construction of data warehouse solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the United States and internationally.
Stephen performed his graduate work in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his master's and Ph.D. research focused on high-performance parallel processing. He completed an MBA with joint course and thesis work at the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Stephen has authored numerous books and articles related to advanced data management techniques.
In addition, Stephen has been on the faculty of The Data Warehousing Institute since 1996 and teaches courses related to Real-Time Data Warehousing and High-Performance Data Warehouse Design.
Andrew is an established thought leader in big data, IoT, visual analytics, and artificial intelligence, with over 21 years of experience in the field. Andrew has led private Ph.D. and Master’s level research teams working on complex projects for over 15 years. This leadership won Andrew two Smithsonian Laureates and more than 30 innovation awards. Also, he is an inventor of nearly 300 patent applications.
Andrew has published over 100 industry and academic articles, and is co-author of three books from 2011 and 2017 (x2).
Andrew currently serves as the Inventor in Residence at Strong Force IP and CEO of Game Changing Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Surveying from Otago University, New Zealand, and a (graduate school) diploma of Computer Science from Victoria University, New Zealand.
