 dventure that combines technology, process, people, and data to produce num
 bers. These numbers can be controversial, misleading, distracting, and occa
 sionally useful. Our journey included model-specific data curation, predict
 ive modeling school, getting to know school capacity planners, leveraging n
 ew tools to manage the process, and ultimately how to leverage the outcome.
 \nWhen we began this project to assist school planners, practically every d
 imension was new to us. What we learned along the way influenced how we cur
 ated data, how we trained the data, how we engaged our partners, and what w
 e did with the outcome. This presentation shares our experiences for the be
 nefit of others that may be facing similar projects.\nDuring this presentat
 ion attendees will learn:\n\n	Hurdles we faced and how we addressed them\n
 Our cyclical process where lessons learned from one approach defined the ne
 xt approach\n	How we measured progress and the value of our model choices\n
